Trend Outfit For the Week

Here is our favorite outfit to rock for the week. It is the time of season when we cannot help but layer. Warmth remains key. Here are some fun ways to layer, remain cute, but remain completely covered.

1. Head
-Accessorize with either a hat or scarf. For this outfit, we will accessorize with a beanie hat than can be dressed up and dressed down. We love ash&dans and recommend their fun knitted head wear photographed below.

2. Shirt
-Burnouts and Plum are two huge trends so why not combine the two? Loose and comfort is the look and we are very happy to stick with this trend. Wear Me Out Clothing offers a great 3/4 sleeve burnout top at the reasonable price of $39.99.

3. Jacket
-Leather is a great piece that can be worn during the day and/or night. We have two options. Faux leather is a huge rage right now due to cost and animal concern. Most people love to have a real leather jacket for the reason it will last a long time. Here are two options.

Real Leather: Retail @ Adler Leather for $159.99

Faux Leather- Retail @ Forever 21-$44.80

Bottoms:
-Pair your burnout and jacket with some great denim jeans or a basic pair of leggings. Great denim jeans can be found at retail prices, or if you are on a budget, used jeans are great too. There are trading post stores, like Crossroads or Buffalo Exchange.

Regular pair of cotton leggings with rouche on upper bum.

Personally, workout leggings are my favorite because the tight fabric sucks everything together and is most flattering. It is both versatile and cute.

 Shoes:
-In order to finish the outfit, shoes are key, if not the most important. With that, there is nothing better than a great pair of boots!

Great price: Urban Outfitters BDG Tall Suede Boot $69.99

Jeffrey Campbell Brit Wrap Strap Booties-$230.00

Here @ Hip Tip Blog, we try to provide options for people with no budget and others who stick to one. Stay tuned for more!

The Trend of Fall.

Summer is leaving us, while Fall is fast approaching. Although the weather will tell you something different. I have spotted colors and trends that are coming into this season's picture that most everyone will enjoy.

Purple. This color and continues to be seen throughout the year! Whether it's a lighter shade to plum, this flattering color can bring any boring outfit to life.

Men's Tailoring. A masculine look, with a hint of sexy gives this trend an A+. Match a pair of slacks with a sexy lacy top tucked in and a suit over. Annie Hall definitely left an imprint on this trend.

Cargo. Match a big army style cargo jacket with a pair of jeans and boots and you have an outfit. Cargo can be both dressed up and down.

Chunk Heel. We are finally seeing a heel that is comfortable and fashionable. Not new to the fashion world, but definitely still making a bold statement.

Recommended Studios.

Yoga continues to get more popular for good reason. Yoga enables us to zone out daily troubles and get a fantastic workout. However, there are other exercises that bring the same concept to light. I have had the opportunity of locating some great gyms and studios that offer yoga and more. Spinning, Pilates and Zumba are others that should be incorporated in a daily life.

Decorate.

When we put together an outfit, let's face it, we don't always think of the accessories. If you are to wear a black tank top and denim jeans or leggings, it's amazing how a simple scarf or long necklace will turn the outfit from simple to elegant. If you plan on going on a day trip with friends, it's super easy to bring along these elements and be prepared for any occasion.

For the perfect scarf, we have the site for you. Launched by two best friends, Ash&Dans brings class and hip to a new level. Their material include lace, velvet, jersey, and more. They even offer hats, cardigans, and necklaces. Every item is hand designed with perfection. Worn by Gossip Girl stars and recently found in Oprah's magazine. We want to show respect to small businesses and praise their hard work

Exercise Song for the Day:

Besides the fact I have a slight addiction to the band Muse, they are one of the most fantastic workout bands. The heavy rock beats and instrumental solos bring fun and energy to a workout. Hysteria is just one song that will do the trick. Pick up a Muse album and you will find most songs are great to work out to.

Water.

I have come across one of the most simple techniques to loose weight. Now after mentioned,  I am sure the response will be, "duh." However, most people do not stick with it. For a long time, I enjoyed an occasional soda, lemonade, iced tea, and other great drinks. However, I noticed when I cut those drinks out and only drank water, I was at a comfortable weight.

Water is beneficial in many ways, not just body weight. Water is fantastic for a clear complexion. For a while, I was having breakouts and wondering why, with no history of bad skin. I spoke with my skin care specialist and she asked about my water intake. She explained that  water keeps our system flushed out and moisturizes it from the inside.

Water enhances health, increases energy, brightens the eyes, flushes toxins, improves circulation and blood flow.
The Mayo Clinic recommends an 8x8 guideline: 8 glasses, 8 ounces each of fluid a day.
Moderation is important for everything.

Here are some tips if a water only diet is out of the question. Do not purchase soda or other similar drinks for the household. Try to only drink those type drinks for special occasions. For example when you go out for a dinner or a family function. It might be difficult, but if stuck to, the results are incredible.
